HEY I GOT PROBLOM IM KEEPING MY 1.6 VTEC AND GONNA REBUILD IT WITH ALL AFTERMARKETS PARTS TO TURBO IT COULD U HELP WITH AFTER MARKET PARTS WHAT U WOULD USE TO REBUILD ENGINE COMPLETELY DETAILS NEED TO KNOW ALL PARTS NAME AND ALL SO I CAN GET PRICES AND BUY AND WHAT KINDA TURBO TO USE WHAT SIZE AND ALL THANKS NEW TO REBUILDING MOTOR FOR TURBO SO I WANT HELP WITH RIGHT PARTS SO I DONT BLOW ENGINE THANKS ALL

well, with the money your gonna spend on a total rebuild, just buy a swap.

but heres a short list and stuff...
rod and main bearings
crank redone
block redone
new piston rings
new gaskets all around (ask for a gasket kit )
new seals all around.
turbo pistons and rods
block guard
guages
intercooler
turbo kit( just buy a whole kit, dont put together a crapassed kit)
clutch kit
and everything should be around 3500-4000 for everything.

as far as the turbo size, a pt-106 should do a 1.6 fine.

 

go on ebay and get one of those SS Autochrome turbo kits THERE AWSOME!!!!! for 1.6L turbo INTAKE NITROUS YEAAAAAAAAAAA

Im wondering the same thing... last time I checked there were more than one 1.6L vtec motors... do you have a d16 or b16?

Dude if you don't even know what parts you are going to need to rebuild an engine you shouldn't be building one on your own to begin with. Your engine will probably blow up anyway from error.

check out http://www.d-series.org for all your d series questions. for building a d series in this site, the only thing you will get is flamed.

and if you were going to do a swap, the cheapest swap you can get for the most power in the future is a b18 ls engine. you can get a full
swap (engine trans exles ecu wiringharness ) for a little less than a grand. but heres the trick, then you could get a gsr head and make an axtra 30 hp just with that head.
