My engine bay is to dirty.

I bought some electric parts cleaner at Pepboys.Its for alternators, wires etc...

Any horror stories with using this stuff?

I was going to warm up engine a little.
Cover electric parts with plastic bags.
Spray GUNK engine cleaner.
Hose down.
Resprat GUNK.
Scrub .
Hose down.
Spray electric parts with cleaner.
Spray electric parts dryer.
Dry.
