H&R Coilovers - Quick Question, Easy Answer

To those who have installed or participated in an install on an Integra w/H&R Coilovers, must the spring be compressed in order to secure the top hat onto the strut, or can you assemble the whole strut assembly without it being compressed?

whyd u hate them so much? They ride well. Too bad I dont have the wrenches for them ahh..
Im pretty sure I had to compress them as well.

no it doesnt, your buddy just doesnt know how to drive his NSX
