Default H&R Coilovers - Quick Question, Easy Answer

To those who have installed or participated in an install on an Integra w/H&R Coilovers, must the spring be compressed in order to secure the top hat onto the strut, or can you assemble the whole strut assembly without it being compressed?

Yes, you do have to compress them.

I have H&Rs on my DB8 teg and really like them. The ride can be a little stiff somtimes but it corners with my buddies modified NSX.
