FS (feeler): 1997 GS-R, DSP ready
**EDIT** - Forgot to mention car still has working A/C in it.
Make an offer as listed. I'm not interested in being lowballed and I'm not in a hurry to sell, so if no interest I will disassemble, return to stock and sell parts. Pics at bottom of post.
1997 Acura Integra GS-R, Solo DSP prepped
161,500 miles / Engine rebuilt @ 121,500 miles (2002 season) by Ben Schaeffer
MANY national-level trophies including two Solo2 Nationals trophies.
Car hasn't been autocrossed since the end of 2003. Of the 40k miles on the odometer since the rebuild, 30k are highway. Curretnly as my daily driver it gets about 33mpg on average. Interior is very clean. Exterior is pretty clean; paint is very good, but there is some rust developing on the leading edge of the hood. Car has power steering, sunroof, power locks, stereo with single CD player, alarm. Car has NO mechanical issues and if purchaser is in MD, I will have a MD inspection certificate for you.
This car has the same setup it had in it when it was autocrossed, except that I sold the 13x8.5" Panasports. It was very competitive locally and very capable of trophying at national-level events. It is ready to go autocrossing in DSP and could be made more competitive with race seats and tuning. It is emissions legal (passed in 2005) and ready to be a daily driver with some comfort changes (i.e. spring rates).
Before the rebuild, MSD goodies, pulleys, injectors, high-flow cat, flywheel, and fuel system upgrades this car ran 14.9 in the quarter mile on Kumho Ecsta 712s with the spare and subwoofer box. This car has been extremely reliable and I hate to get rid of if, but need to make room in the garage.
