Default turbo kit

Alright I have a question. I was thinking about just getting the Revhard turbo kit but my question is can I just throw that on or do i have to have it tuned? I would be able to afford a good program like hondata once i get the turbo. So would I be able to run that kit at like 7psi without touching the ecu/fuel? i plan on eventually getting hondata s200 w/ boost option but i would also need the p72 chip and the obd2 - 1 conversion harness but its going to cost me so much money to do it all at once. the turbo kit is like 3000 and then hondata + everything to hook it up is another like 800 then to have it tuned is around 600.

with no knowlege of your budget we can't tell you if you can afford it or not. You seem to know what everythings costs, so if those prices come in under your budget, then yes, you have enough money.

As far as the bolt-onability of the revhard kit, they are easy. they bolt right on and you should be ready to go with everything they provide. Is it just as good as having a motor with an ECU written for it? No way, but itll work pretty darn well, and youll have fun.

You will need to have it tuned. You could run an FMU and intank fuel pump temporarily until you can afford to upgrade to a hondata and have it tuned.

Honestly though... wait until you have enough money to do everything at once. The last thing you want to do is torch your engine because you had ants in your pants.

first....what should I do about a FMU? would I just be able to use the apexi safc-II on it temporarily? and if i ran the FMU and the intank fuel pump for a couple months (2-3 probably) and just kept it at low boost would my engine be okay till i could afford the hondata...like i said 2-3 months

Iceprelude.......why don't you just wait untill you have enough $$$ to do it right the first time. Put it in...take it out....and then tune......cost more and wast time. Anyway its your money. Wanna some pics when you done .
