looking to get a new hatch, mine is busted so that it won't stay open. The nut that you screw the struts into is busted so I got to get a new one from the junkyard. I have a 88 std hatch, will any hatch 88-91 civic work?

I would think it would, but I've never had a reason to try.

I hve yet to see a difference in the hatches, I see no reason not too work.

 

i dunno know exactly but if i were you i would get off of 88-89 because once you start hitting 90 and 91 parts tend to get different.

 

i know 88 91 crx hatches are the same.porb. tru with the civic hatches too.i mean its still same chassis.no im not saying the crx hatch will fit the civic cause it wont
