Rally car in town
I was coming down a back street downtown today, came around a corner, I saw a big red tent set up with 2 Evolutions under them. One was Ryse(sp) Millen. I about passed out. They came out here last year to run the Cherokee Trails. I met on guy with a Escort Cosworth, we took him around so he could get some video action. So if you in the Chattanooga area you owe it to your self to check theseguys out. Saw a Type R rally car last. Cracked out the whole weekend
Dude, I saw three of them pass me at the redlight getting on 75 friday. unfortunately I didn't have time to go check them out closer. blows for me. maybe next year. post pics if anyone took any. Mike
Cool... Rod Millen's shop is down the street from me.
On the rally car note, though... I saw a Civic Rally Car once when I went off roading with my friends... it was coming back from playing in the dirt i assume.

We tried to get him to come to a meet, but he didn't
I've been for a ride in the WRX, f@*k'n unreal. I couldn't belive a car could have that much grip on gravel.
Rallying is the way to go

I still don't understand why they do the trails as only stage for the rally. To me this is more of rally stages should be held at:
Been here a many times and yes I've done over 80mph in the wet on this crazy 11 mile stretch of road. Also if you do drop off it's side it's about 1,780 foot drop to the bottom. But there other areas that at in 4-6,000 feet elevations very fun stuff.
I don't believe these are all the roads and sections either as I believe there some unpaved areas which I have seen some offroaders go down. There is always the parkway. So there is alot places they could run the rally stages.
