On the h23 wiring harness there is a green plug that is bunched up with the plugs for the distributer, on my h22, there is no male end on the head where the hose connects, do I just swap the part from the h23 or do I need to plug it in somewhere else?

just use the H23 one.

 

the harness sounds like the coolant temp sensor, or fan switch. the harness in your car is for a h23, but now that you have a h22 motor and ecu you won't need it. just leave it unplugged IMO.

 

yeah when i did mine i just zip tied that plug out of the way. I didnt wanan break the seal on the neck to risk trying to use it so i just tied it out of the way and hid it. Works fine.

 

well where on teh h22 is teh coolant temp sensor? if it's not there it must be somewhere else... hmm

 

This is a fan switch for sure. It plugs to the elbow coming out from the head in H23. You can swap this elbow also.
