Default anyone have ITBs on northeast coast??

hey guys one of my buddies is debating on ITBs..however we live in pennsylvania. we are wondering if anyone in or around the area has itbs..if so he wants to know what kind of gains to expect, if there is a preffered kit, and if its worth it. living in pa he expects it to have to be on the dyno every month or so because of the constant change in temp, humidity etc..

I ran a set of "homemade" ITB's on my SOHC all summer. I'm from MA. but I removed them for the winter since I'll be driving this car through the snow and ice They were fine in the summer though.

I'm from pa, i have some diy itbs i put on over the summer. I noticed when it was real hot out they ran perfect just like stock, but when it started getting colder they started idling real crappy. I never got them dyno'd but i took it to the track and ran the same times as w/ the skunk2 mani.

I live in MD. I had a set of TWM's on my B20 nonvtec and didnt notice a difference in power. I never really had to tune them for weather and it was my daily driver.

I think dont do itb's unless you have a big motor with high CR or if you can get them cheap.
