Default half sized, dual core, fluidyne radiator?

i need to upgrade my radiator, and was wondering, since i plan on boosting in the future, should i get a half sized radiator? if so what would be a good kind to purchase - i always hear the names koyo and fluidyne, so i'm guessing these would be some reputable names two choose from? which half size ones would fit a 99 gs-r? also, do these radiators use a different kind of coolant, or do they use the same kind a normal OEM radiator would use?

They are all good radiators. Keep in mind that cooling isn't really an issue even at high power levels. It's mostly for security just in case. Besides, the OEM one has plastic endtanks that like to crack at about 80-100K miles.

I have heard that Fluidyne isn't a true dual core, but since I never considered buying a Fluidyne, I never looked into it further. Their expensive slim fans also turned me away. I believe the fans are more expensive than the damn radiator.

Look into C&R. They are a little more pricey, but they are great. They come with their own 1000CFM SPAL slim fan. Very nice. True dual core, and they come in a half or full size.

Here was mine:

I upgraded to the Full-Race half-sized radiator. I was extremely impressed with the quality, and performance.

I hope you don't sit in traffic for long. Even with all the cooling capabilities of that radiator, with no airflow, it's not going to cool much. Give it about 15 minutes in a traffic jam, and watch the needle start climbing. Trust me, I used to make 4 hour commutes to and from Washington DC, which was a distance of 60 miles one way. Didn't get over 10mph the whole way. My rad fans quit one day, and I had to pull over and let the engine cool after about every ten minutes of sitting there.

OEM Del sol v-tec half size radiator in a 328whp integra. This means I downgraded the cooling system and upped horsepower. I haven't had any problems. I don't see the point of buying an expensive radiator exept for bling . One doesn't "cool" better then the other because the thermostat controls that.
