We had 5 guys out there, Duy Bui, Matt Vanwie, Viet Do, Arron Lopez, and David Aiwase. Number one qualifier was Arron Lopez in his 96 H22A powered Civic with a 10.43 @ 141. Unfortunately Arron lost a cylinder at the end of the run and couldnt finish the race. Matt broke an axle on the launch in his 94 F20B powered civic in the last round of qualifying and was unable to compete. Duy, Dave and Viet all working out bugs and traction issues qualified but not up to their cars' full potential.
first round Dave hammered down the track making his best 1/4 pass of an 11.4 @ 132 taking out duy's 240 which was having problems with teh boost controller. Viet broke an axle in the burnout box and couldnt make the final round.
All in all it was fun. It would have been much more fun if more people would have been out there. Hopefully we will see some of you at IFO in San Antonio coming up.!!
Congrats to Dave and teh crew at HPS for coming out in the CRX after 5 years of sitting and winning the first event out!! WAY TO GO!!</TD></TR></TABLE>
Saturday was Rained out, The Reschudled for Sunday.
No one had any solid answers to the Schedule for the day.
some of us missed the first round of qaulifying that day because of it and other things.
They gave us one other qualifying run later in the day.
There were alot of cars there.
We left at 10pm after sitting in staging for 3 hours, they hadnt even gotten through the first round of elims in some of the domestics classes then, it started raining as soon as we drove away, so I dunno what they did for the domestics guy after that.
I have some vidoes and I know some friends took some pictures, ill try to get them up in a bit.

Yea it broke the pass before i guess.
Check the vid below, those are the pulls right before.
We made like 10 pulls back to back just trying to heat up the tires and get them to stick.
It wouldnt put down anything over like 500whp at like 6k.
Just spun, Im trying to find some pics of the axle we broke right before all that.
Ive never seen an axle explode the way this one did.
The inner cup exploded.

I guess so, the car has never ever broken an axle in its life until this weekend.
those axles are like 4-5 years old.
I dunno why the motor looks like that.
Stupid place racing mounts, That and the new tranny case was a little jacked.
the bolts were all boogered up so it was kinda rigged to work for the weekend.
