Default transmission problems HELP

i just switched my trans from auto to manual. it worked fine for a couple of days and now my clutch pedal engagment is at the very top of my clutch travel.( The clutch dosent grab until about 1/2 inch from the top.) also some days if i drive a lot the clutch dosent seem to full engage, it slips quite a bit as if im riding the clutch. i Have a 99 prelude and am not sure what to do. Thanks!

there is a little rod if you look under your dash. above your clutch pedal. you will need to adjust it so it will engage lower.

thats a terrible peice of advice...if the thing worked for a few days, then crapped out, then the adjusting rod would not be the problem, because it was fine before, and it didnt un-adjust itself....just make sure that the nut on it is tight and it didnt jiggle loose and turn....but this is quite unlikely...

you need to check the whole hydraulic system, check it all for leaks and fix what you find...if you dont find anything, just bleed it afterwards...

if you still have a problem, either your master or slave cyl is crap.....

my clutched master cylinder leaked out. got my master cylinder changed. clutch still felt like it was slipping. figure it was the clutch. changed that. wasnt the problem. had to adjust the master cylinder rod. bleed it. and its been working good for me since!
