I have a 91 hb si, and when you look at the engine bay, theres this thing on the left top corner bolted on in the corner. What would that be? and can my car run without it?

Are you trying to be funny, the reason im asking is because i just got this shell and that piece right there looks beat up and wires ripped out.

 

ummm, a pic would be nice, there is alot of stuff in the top lef. Or even a simple discription like maybe a shape would help alot

yeah, your desc. is VERY vague... a 'thing' could be anything.

however, i'm gonna wager a guess. injector resistor box, seeing as it's an si. what you see of it is this rectangular aluminum piece with fins.

 

My bad guys, its not the resistor box because it is on the other side. It's right above the fuses. It has some kind of a canister looking thing hooked to it. Here's a pic, top left corner
