I live in Virginia for one so technically it is not, but if it was it wouldn't matter to me anyways. Stunting is a sport to my friends and I, and its something we practice every chance we get and yes that means on the street but we usually have a few spots away from public streets and roads. I will admit though its always fun to pull one up on the highway once in awhile.

I liked the logical correlation between being irritated with "noise pollution" and protesting a motorcycle shop.

That article did a pretty bad job making a case, and suggesting a solution.

 

I'm starting to see some cops cite bikes for loud pipes, cruisers, hogs and crotch rockets.

 

and what justify you for doing a wheelie at 60+mph on a busy highway? not saying that stunting is bad. but doing it when other civilians around? thats just plain stupid.

ppl like you that stunt on public roadways gives the 2 wheel community another bad name.. and gives the police another reason to start profiling cyclist. and i thought it was bad enough that we cant even enjoy our hobby that consists of 4 wheels....

....I guess nothing justifies it..Its completely your opinion that its giving it a bad name, who does it give it a bad name to? with all do respect and I dont mean to sounds selfish in my ramble here but I dont care about you or anyone else who has a problem with my riding, there are plenty of people who enjoy seeing a sportbiker pull a wheelie ( to those who can or even want to) on the roads as people enjoy seeing someone drifting on the roads I think you just have to know where and when to do it, for instance you said "busy" highway..you have no idea where I live or how busy the highways are that I have done wheelies on, and when I do my wheelies on the highway it is when it is NOT busy. I guess me and the people I know and talk to arent your "average" go out for a cruise cyclist, but thats the way we like it. just curious but what are you riding these days BTW? are you even a motorcyclist yourself?

 

yes i ride. sorry that it isnt a liter bike nor is it a turbo busa. rather it is just a simple kawi 250.

what are you apologizing to me for? I ride a 600F4 that has plenty of power for me and an RM125 and happen to dislike busa's..
