I'm selling my civic, its time to move on to something different. VIN can be furbished to serious buyers. It can be shipped at the buyers expense.
1996 Honda Civic EX, Silver, Dark gray interior
Power everything, moonroof, CD...AC, PS, Cruise have all been removed but I have all of the needed parts to put them back in.
130k on the chassis. For the after market stuff:
Motor
-JDM b18b1, with a GSR tranny~90-100k, from hmotorsonline.com (NO vtec, DOHC, LS integra motor)
-Competition clutch, lightened flywheel and pressure plate...Still grabs HARD
-Generic Intake
-Replica ITR Header, 4-1, 2.5 collector, polished.
-RS*R Ex-Mag exhaust, dis-continued, quiet, subtle and clean. Can be replaced with a larger, louder, better performing exhaust if wanted.
-417motorsports testpipe/midpipe/CAT delete thing
-NX Wet kit, jetted to 50hp.--Can be removed
-MSD Digital window swtich--Can be removed
-Hasport Shift linkage
-Skunk2 Short throw with poly bushing and Skunk2 Shift ****
-ALL motor mounts from honda, bought new, less than a year old
suspension/wheels
-Ground Control Coil-overs with custom spring rates~ 2 months old
-Koni Yellow, adjustable shocks~ 2 months old
-Skunk2 Camber kit
-Spoon upper strut bars, front and rear
-14" Eagle alloys, look like ITR rims and they are painted white. On some all season tires that have life left.
Brakes
-Brembo Slotted up front~2 months old
-Hawk pads~2 months old
-Stock rears.
Body
-Replica CTR, black hosuing headlights
-JDM city lights (parking lights)
-99-00 Tails
-OEM optional front lip for 96-98 civics, pretty rare
-Aftermarket, Carbon fiber Mugen lip, painted silver-6 months old
-Painted Side skirts
Interior
Stock as a rock.
-MSD Window switch in the glove box
-Nitrous Activation switch wired into the Cruise Control button.
Now, that is the spec list. Here are some of the flaws
-The body was poorly kept by the previous owners. It has door dings, scuffs and scratchs ALL fom the previous owners. I have tried to maintain this car as the best I could, washed and waxed on a regular basis. The car looks absolutely fine until you really get up on it and start looking for the flaws, but thats the beauty of the silver color
-The motor has a funny idle when it is cold outside, mainly due to the spark plugs. 9 out of 10 times it is fine, sometimes it bounces, but you can shut if off, restart the car and its fine. Weird, minor and not a problem.
-The interior has two flaws: A rip in the drivers seat, where the cushion and the bulster meet and one of the floor mats is chewed up. Again from the previous owners.
Thats about it for the car.
It made 132/119 on the motor and 161/171 ont he 50 shot
ALL of the mods are no older than 1.5 years old and 95% of them were done at 417motorsports here in Springfield, Mo. I have reciepts for some various stuff and I have kept records of other things. At the NOPI show..in the nonvtec booth. It also got a NonVTEC.com cover for july of this year. Online magazine cover
