Default 93 Legend in need of repair

Wondering if anyone in the North Texas area would know of a good mechanic to fix a 93 Legend. I know this is a long shot to ask of. But figure I would give it a go. The problem is I hit a curb and it blew out the front passenger side tire. I took it to the dealership to see what was wrong with it and they said that pretty much the whole suspension would need to be replaced and the fender would need to be replaced also. Probably a few other things would be in need of repair as well. To them they say the car would cost to much to fix, and probably not worth doing. Of course that is because they charge outrageous prices. Anyhow, if anyone has any helpful info I would really appreciate it.

I'm unsure as to how badly your vehicle was dmged. You might recieve better help if you were to post some pics.

Not too long ago, I had to deal with the same problems you're now facing.

You have several options in this situation.

Pay a dealership +$$$$-$
Pay a mechanic +$$$$
or go aftermarket $$$$

You can find reasonably affordable >> springs, coilovers, struts, fenders... for a legend

1 wheel and tire should be easy enough to replace.

My recommendation, given you want to keep driving ur legend.

Price suspension components, price OEM passenger fender, price a wheel and tire, price struts/shocks/coilovers/springs, then after reveiwing prices and seeing how much all the parts will cost collectively. Figure out how much of this work you could do your self.

This looks like a 2-3000$ project since you will have to replace the entire suspension to keep your car balanced.

If you are like me, bolt up a new fender, bolt on some ebay oem suspension, throw on a full spare and ur ready to roll.

feel free to ask more questions; specifics... plz post pics

remember honda-tech is all about DIY
