Ok guys here's the deal. I drive a 94 Teg LS. In the summer time ive noticed that when i turn the AC on a low pitch sound comes on. I figured it had to do with the AC itself. Now, its winter and its cold and since 2 days ago I've been hearing close to the same thing and I was wondering if it has something to do with the heat. It sounds cool because like 3 people so far have asked me if I have a turbo lol because it kinda sounds like it...but it worries me because I have no idea what it might be if its something bad.

Anyone else experienced that? Is it some feature of the car that I dont know of?

how long have you had the car? does it only do it when the AC/heat is on? I know some dumbasses like to install a whistle thing on their intake to make it sound like it is boosted.

 

Ive had it since april and i tried turning the heat off and making it blow cold and stuff but its still happening. Since it started a few days ago and that ive had it for a while I know that it is not some fake turbo thing so its really weird...no lights coming on either so...WEIRD!

came out to be the belts..they need replacements or to just be redone and they were the culprit for the houling noise and the rumbling i had.

ill give more detail for any1 that cares after i get the car back and find out exactly what they replaced!

 

its the pulley for the AC and it will cost me $200 total...the part is $80
