are the water pumps the same on the h22a and a1?, and are there any other differances extermally that you know about (knock sensor, or any other sensors)?

 

Pumps are the same, i have a jdm h22a and installed a usdm new h22a1 pump.
Jdm h22a= internal coil dizzy, no ect switch B, no air boost valve( i think thats what its called)

 

im swappin in a h22a in my usdm 93 lude. I plan on using the usdm ignition, and the usdm intake manifold, and the usdm fuel setup. Will i have any problems?

 

yes you can use the usdm dizzy and external coil, no need to swap intake manifolds, use your usdm h22 fuel rail with jdm h22 injectors/fuel pressure regulator. You can even swap your usdm h22's upper radiator housing( right above engine stamp/ houses the ect switch B) im using my f22's housing with switch B. Also use your usdm engine wiring harness

 

well this h22a is obd2 and my a1 was obd1, not to mention my usdm IM is modifided and need the obd1 fuel set up.
