Default BMW wheels on a Crx?

does anyone know the bolt pattern on a 1986 3-series bmw, i found some nice looking oem 14" wheels on a bmw in the junkyard. they told me $35 a piece and they're in great shape. anyone know how much they things weigh?

you might be thinking of BMW "Bottlecap" wheels... they're 14x6, strong, but not really light...nice offset too, I think

i thought it was vw that had the 14x6 bottlecaps, are they the same wheel, or just a similar name and size? (pics would be nice). yeah, all bmw 4 lugs i've seen are the right 4x100 bolt pattern.

I had 3 series wheels on my 86 si. Painted white by myself and a couple of friends way back in high school. Never chipped
They will fit.

yeah those are the wheels i saw, i can get the whole set for $140 from the yard, would this be a good idea or should i stay away from them. what tire size would be best for a 14" wheel anyway? do they make a 195/50 or 55 series?

I used to have a set that i ran slicks on, I would swap them at the track. Pretty light.

the bmw mesh wheels are very similar to the ones found on 90-92 GTI/GLI's. those wheels look pimp on a 4door.

You can find complete sets of BMW bottlecaps for about a $100 or so with tires. The BMW guys don't particularly like them. There are also BBS mesh wheels that came on the "S" models that are 4x100, 14x6.5 that look great but hard to clean. I wouldn't go for bottlecaps on a honda unless they were dirt cheap.

This is the only real picture I have of the side.

The rims have a crazy offset (rwd I suppose) and all 4 of them rub when you're really slammed. and they are queer too cause they are only 13s but man are they light.
