when using the single stage external oil pump, do you leave the oem oil pump in and just pull the rotor out or is their a little more to it???

I always wondered the same thing. I have no experience with external oil pumps on hondas, but looking at it logically I would think that all you do is take the internal oil pump gear out, and leave everything else where it is. Don't quote me on that though.
