i just checked out an 87 CRX im thinking about buying. the fuel injector light is on, and the guy told me its been like that, and it has something to do with the CPU. it appears that its affecting the shifting, when you shift up, it doesnt immediately respond, it hesistates before going. anyone know about this or have any experience with the older gen. CRX's?

 

most likely an o2 code. look under the pass. seat and watch the led on the ecu with the key on count the blinks.

 

just curious, (i'm not completely changing the subject, even though it seems like i am) but how much is he asking, and what shape is it in?

what i mean, is this seems like an easy fix if all else is good.

 

its in pretty good shape body wise. in the right front fender, there is a hole near the hood, but its not large. the sunroof (why is there one) is rusted around the edges. there was rust in one of the wheel wells, but he fixed it. really it just had minor dents and scratches. he said he wants 800-900 for it.
