Default ebay scam for integra

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

there is no way this car is selling for $3k OBO...the parts itself is worth way more than the car...engine wise...for a 98 b18c1 is 3.3k, drag kit $3k, jdm all metal front end..atleast $1.6-2.6k...total scam...

Read what he wrote real close, at the top he says he is not accepeting any offers outside of EBay. But at the bottom where the 2 pics are, he says he reserves the right to end the auction early for local sale. Huh? sounds fishy. I'm glad I didnt get scammed when I bought my gsr off ebay

It's no scam, the guy has 100% positive feedback, there's nothing fishy about it. It could have something wrong with it, or he just started it down low because he knows he will get more interest with a cheaper auction, it will end up around 7-8k.

i think that he is smart for starting it a low price... that you have people fighting for it because of its low price...and before you know it your paying 6-7 g's for a car that started at .99

Funny you should mention that... I'm scared of ebay.

Maybe he meant 12,950 instead of 2,950. I would also like to see it in person

exactly

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by vtecriver &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

yea he has 100% feedback with only 15 feedback, thats not hard to do, buy 15 things off ebay and send the money and youll get a positive feedback</TD></TR></TABLE>

true, except only half of his feedback is for buying items... the other half is him as a seller, he had good comments on all of the items he sold. If you don't make a living selling things on ebay, you only sell things maybe 2-3 times a year, which his sales were over a long period of time, then that 15 positive feedback is something you want to maintain.

I think what he meant was, hes not going to accept an e-mail from some guy 2000 miles away trying to buy outside of ebay.

There are a lot of those weird ads on craigslist also. A fully modded Celicas, RSXs, and etc. going for $5K. If it is too good to be true, it will most likely be a scam of some sort.

well, it looks pretty legit, for now...

its crazy how you could post something like that and get people thinking that its a scam because of the low price....but then again if he was to post some outragious price this thread wouldnt of even been created... think about it

he could have meant 12 and not 2.

But what they said,.

If he has said 12K and not 2K would you have created the topic?, and gotten many people who may not have seen it to now see it./
Nope, He knows what he is doing. Advertising, man

He says low price and then bam people everywhere are posting about this teg thats so low, whle people are fighting over it, he might get $10,000 and more for it.

lol, It's not a scam, Well I cant say that but still.
