cant get corner lights to install rite, wtf
sorry for such a noob question, but i cant get my dc4's corner lights to tighten down. what ive done is place it in the bumper but the screw that holds it in wont tighten down. also, one of my corner lights is waay dimmer than the other. i noticed that the bulb harness was a lil rusty, should i r&r this harness to fix the problem. thanx in advance, got scotch tape holdin it on rite now
the part that the screw goes into just isnt threaded so it cant tighten down. maybe a lil home deopt diy? can anyone help me out here? tired of using scotch tape to hold my **** up lol

It's SUPPOSED to screw into that little clip, emphasis on the supposed to. Mine fell out so I used a bolt (had to open up the hole a bit to get it to fit, but just a little so as to not affect waterproofing) and a locking nut on the inside to hold it in. It's not going to come out and looks the same from the outside. The only downside is that you have to reach inside the bumper to take the lens out in the future (not fun when you are really low).

Is it not threading in at all, or is it threading down, and just not getting tight? If it's just not getting tight (stripped, if you will...
) then you can replace the little threaded tab that the screw is supposed to thread in to.
