Default 4WS

Ok before everyone rips on me and says i should do some searching to find my answer just hear me out. I have a 92 4WS since the summer and all summer the 4ws just needed the old flip of the key to get that light off and the system working but now that the temp just got colder here in NJ (below 40 and 30's at night) and the whole system just doesnt work and the light is permenantly on. The alignment is a little off so i dont really want to be driving on it like this too much. Could my problem lay in the weather or is it the ECU just went like everyone elses. Ive never soldered before so could i take it somewhere to get this done at reasonable cost? also is there a temp fix like pulling a fuse or something that will lock the back up and make it into a 2ws? thanks

I don't know a whole lot about the 4WS system, but are there any parts that you need to lubricate regularly?

It may be a famous broken solderings issue, especially as it is temperature sensible.

Go to Essential prelude links - here you will find what to do.
