I'm guessing that the kits don't come with synchro sleeves and hubs. It probably also doesn't include every single needle and ball bearing in the transmissions, or does it?
It'd be helpful if Dave broke down the parts composition in those kits.

Here's the word from Dave:
(4) seals - (2) axle seals, (1) input shaft seal, (1) shift rod seal
(6 or 7) bearings for the shafts and diff [no needle bearings]
(5) Brass synchro rings....I think that's one short of a full set since each gear has one.
I've priced out parts for a complete rebuild before and it's slightly more than $1200, mostly because you have to buy the gears with the 1st-2nd and 3rd-4th synchros. That's not including any of the clearancing for the change holder, but includes a 72mm (mainshaft) and a 80mm shim (diff).
