Default Metal to the pedal..white smoke?!

I was on the highway today, going around 70 mph at about 4-5 rpm. When I pressed the gas pedal down quickly, I saw white smoke coming out in my rear view mirror. Couple of seconds later, I did it again, and it happened again.

What is the cause of this? I just build my lsvtec, around 800 miles.

Thanx.

x2

A stock P28 ecu is designed for a 1.6-liter single-cam, NOT your 1.8-liter DOHC LSVTEC.
