If I'm not mistaken the VAFC has a memory chip, and it won't reset unless you specify it on the setup mode.

Actually, both the Fields and the Apexi hold memory. I had a Field unplugged for about 2 months and still held the settings from before. I think it has a battery inside it.

If you want to reset the Apexi you can go to etc. then to initialize, then say yes if you want to initialize all. Don't do it if you haven't written down your settings though, it puts everything back to the way it was when it was new.

Agree with the people with AFC's. I had my motor out for over a month, no battery, nothing, and the AFC still had my settings.

On another occasion, I had my ECU fuse out for about 1 week straight. Didn't lose a thing.

Cool thanks a lot how about with Greddy Turbo Timer or the Blitz SBC-id or AVC-R Will those reset too or they have a built in memory chip???? Thanks a lot guyz. Since the Vafc has a built in memory chip then I guess same goes for the AVC-R. But what about the turbo timer and blitz boost controller?

I knew that disconnecting the car battery, would not lose my previous settings.

I disconnected my AFC completely from harness (3 months ago), could it still have my previous settings?
