NO I HAVE NOT BOUGHT A MANUAL YET!

I intend to but I just bought a EF civic hatch (1st civic, owned 5 accords) I am sure they are basic throughout since it is honda but I want to know from civic fanatics what this may be.

It is a DPPFI I think that is right. Whatever. It is PGM-FI with the primary and aux. injectors (so only 2 for newbies) I do not like this and will be swapping soon after I get work done to my 3rd gen accord (5 sp. tranny swap) and my 4th gen accord wagon (clutch and minor overhaul) since I don't have the money to make that fast - too heavy -.

Anyhow. I know wtf I am doing I just need guidance as this car is somewhat newer to me.

Any help would be great. Also I am looking for some stock parts for this car like Rex dash, Si guage (w/tach) Seats, driver door (non-power nothing) driver fender, carpet (not really needed) mainly a driver seat mounting bracket. I know this is out of topic but like I said this is my 1st civic.

did you search here? it's the blue wire coming off the distributor. search 'ignition output signal' in the ef forum. there are about eight threads. good luck, welcome to 4th gen civics.

This helped a little but unlike these threads my car starts and runs. I do have a little hesitation in mid powerband. I know the guy I bought this from said he put new cap wires and rotor on but he might have messed something up.

I just bought this car two days ago and noticed the light blinking because I pulled out the carpet (nasty).

At least now I know how to search a little more thorough. H-T is better than most of the web anyway.

H-T rocks only because of who logs on.

 

Just so every one knows I bought the chilton manual only because I couldn't find a helms and not too crazy about haynes.
