88-91 Civic and 88-91 Crx glove boxes, are they the same??

Yes, they are. I bought a 91 CRX Si glove box off of EBAY and put it in my 88 Civic Hatch STD. Straight swap, no modifications.

I did notice, however, that my old glovebox (88 Hatch STD) and new glovebox was made of the same plastic as the rest of the interior, but the newer (91 CRX Si) glovebox had a felt-like lining on the inside. I don't know if this is more trim based or model based, but now the crap in my glovebox doesn't make nearly as much noise when I go over a bump.

yeah, si's have lining on the glove box. plus make sure you get the right color, but that's obvious.

 

i have a sedan one in mine, but for some reason the blue is off a little bit. i think it was sitting in the junk yard for a while before i got it.
