THERMOFLEX VALVE?????
A friend of mine has a 92 prelude. It has been idleing a little high when in park. She took it to a shop to get it fixed and the mechanic is telling us that he thinks its the thermoflex valve. I've never heard of such a thing and google pops up components for steam engines. Is their such a thing as a thermoflex valve for the H22 ?????

I'd call this bullshit... I mean maybe he's just got some old school (incorrect)terminology going here... But if he says that he needs to replace the "thermoflex" valve then tell her to go to a new mechanic. Sounds like it just needs the idle point adjusted, little screw on the throttle body.
What exactly is "a little high"?
