Default ANYBODY USING THIS TYPE OF WELDER? (HEND HELD)

HELLO EVERYBODY.

i was wondering if anyone here using this type of welder?

i was thinking about buying somthing like this for my oun fabrications.

Pretty sure that is just a self contained spool gun, you would need a power source(a welder) to run it.

it looks like it connects to batteries. The thing is you have to have a battery charger too.

Seems to me like its something you'd use in a case of emergency when on a trail, but I wouldnt start my work around a toy like that.

For that price you could get a name brand MIG welder that would still be portable, run on 110, and probably be alot better product. Yay for E-bay. Good luck shopping.

you can hook 2 or 3 car batteries up and weld with that. off road guys use battery welding a lot.

ive been wanting this same one to run off a high output alternator on my truck for awhile now.

nope. when using it say on a truck, you can raise or lower your rpm to regulate some. also someone sells a box that does it too.

Uses batteries or an ARC welding power source. Personally I wouldn't want to spend that kind of money just to get stuck with a welder that I couldn't just plug in and weld with.
