You can get tires that are the proper size for your car, which means 205/40-16, not 205/45-16.

They can run the wrong size tires all day. And that wrong size can rub all day.
You increase the chances of rubbing when you use tires which are wider than stock or when you use tires whose outer diameter is larger than stock. It's even worse when you do both.
Fact number 1: Your car came from the factory with 185/60-14 tires.
Fact number 2: 205 treadwidth tires are 20 mm wider than stock.
Fact number 3: 205/45-16 tires are 2.3 percent larger in outer diameter than stock, which increases the chances of rubbing.
Fact number 4: 205/40-16 tires are 1.3 percent smaller in outer diameter than stock, which decreases the chances of rubbing.
Those are the facts, and that's why your tires are rubbing.
