best ride = soft.

Tein S-tech springs with KYB AGX (set soft) would fit the bill at a good price. or if the money is available, you can always bump the shock up to Tokico Illuminas.

but nice ride = soft, aggressive/nice handling = firm

If you don't care about handling, i've heard that tiens ride pretty nice. Acutally the guy had basics, and it "rode like a lexus" lol.

the illuminas on 1 or 2 is soft, add Tein S-tech (because of their very soft rates

Tein S. Tech (civic application) - 235F/140R, here is the GS-R - 200F/95R for comparison. 235/140 is soft and gives just under the 2" you wanted while keeping very close to stock GS-R rates.

Civic application springs work for integra's 94-01 (not sure if DC2 is the 94-01, i think it is though right?) so 96-00 civic springs will work in 94-01 integra's, same drop, but slightly softer rate.

Ground controls with kyb adj...or koni yellows...i have the GC and kyb adj setup...man....its 10x better than my omni full coils 6way adj....i was looking for ride quality too.....if you dont need the ride adjustment...then get some h&r sport springs...instead of the GC's...i have two roomates with h&r sports on there accord coupe and integra and it rides okay acutally..both have stock shocks too...with the kybs the ride will be alot better...i have my kybs set a 1 in the front and 3 in the rear...
