Default Best Shocks for H&R OE Sport Springs?

Got some H&R OE Springs for my 98 GSR.

Thinking about:

Tokico HP
Koni Reds
KYB AGX

Which shocks match these springs best? Where is the cheapest place to buy?

Go with the Tokico Illuminas I've loved mine.

How do you have them set on the front and rear?

Since you're not going too low or stiff, I think you'd be fine with either the Koni Reds or Tokico Blues. I had the Blues with the Neuspeed SofSports and it was a nice sporty street setup... even did my first season and a half of auto-x on them. Now I have GC/Yellows and that's just the ****, but really I think Blues will be fine for a more mild setup.

I would but my stock shocks have 110K on them.

Of those you posted, I would only use the reds. Next step up would be Illuminas or Koni Sports.

im running stock shocks on s.techs, and they ride just fine. no bounce or anything.

the OE's dont drop that much at all, you shouldnt have any problems on the stockers.

Only thing I'm wondering is what setting I should set the shocks to if I go with the Koni Reds because they're only adjustable before installation.

Any ideas anyone?

Are the AGX's too agressive for my H&R OE Sports?

If you're using the H&R OE springs, I'd set them 1/4 stiff or so, maybe go as high as half. They're a pretty low rate, so I'd set them low for comfort as you don't have to worry about underdamping.

Sounds good.

Anyone else have some opinions?

Whatever makes you happy. Seriously.

I'd start at the middle of the range at both ends of the car, and fiddle with the settings until you find a setup you like.
