Apexi GT spec header
I have one. The gains are very minimal for a GS-R with simple bolt-ons since the stock manifold is already well designed. The quality of the A'PEXi is top notch...I still can't believe they're individually hand-ported.
For a car with heavy mods, you may want to go with a header with a 2.5" collector.
A'PEXi has raised the prices of the GT Manifold since its introduction. Be happy if you can get it for around $390.

Unless things have changed, you can't use it on '00-'01s, since they moved the O2 sensor.
Go w/ Comptech's header, as it did well up against 4-1 headers in the Great Header Test (search this topic).

The Apex'i header is beautiful. Drop me a line if you need a quote.
I run the Comptech TIG as well, and honestly, both of these headers construction is top-notch. You cant go wrong with either, IMO

I have one on my 94 GSR.
very lightweight, that is main reason I bought it.. to save weight from the stock manifold.
very well made...
all Apexi stuff gets a
in my book, I love my GT header and N1 catback.
