I told you guys when my bottem end spun again i was going to bore and stroke it well that might be out the window due to my dad buying a eagle lw crank 999 for the crack and 700 for mechanic work ******* making me pay for it when i told them to wait tell i got off guard . should i just keep stock compression and go all motor or should i get custom heads and rods. wanting to hit 12 to 12.5 compression

No offense, but seeing as how you seem to know little to nothing about engines, I suggest you buy a brand new shortblock from Len and install it in your car.

OEM reliability can't be beat.

are you sure you are at the financial responsibility to start modding your car? sounds like you arent.

Yeah, parents really suck when they are willing to spend their money to repair your car. I really feel bad for you. Maybe you should move out and try supporting yourself, so you won't have to put up with anyone spending money on you or your car.

This is the internet - welcome to it. As a father, if my son spoke of me and my wife that way, I would be completely ashamed, embarrassed and certainly would like someone besides myself to talk to him about it.

LOL.....good post too. Along with a few others. My parents bought me my LS teg. I paid them back and started modding it my damned self. All ITR parts, bought from dealerships and ebay.....and from a few of you wonderful H-T members, all monies outta my own damned pocket All repair bills....out of my own pocket. Most installs....my own damned hands and tools. My point in saying this......if this kid can't appreciate that he doesn't have to suffer, and work long hours to buy things so that he can enjoy this "hobby" that we are all a part of....then maybe he should just go trade in his car, get a SUV and call it a day.

It also sounds like this kid does not have good communication with his parents at all. If he would have talked to his parents about his plans for the car....there is a SLIGHT chance they maybe....ohhhh.....just MAYBE they would have bought the part he was wantin to get. Given that they "spoil" him like that already.
