anybody got advice about cutting my interior to intall a strut tower bar?

you can get one thats made for the integra that goes over those pieces but cutting it and having a straight rigid bar would be the best performance wise.

all these posts and no real reply. dude. just get a dremel and cut it. if you don't have that use something that will, then pop the covers back on.

It's very easy to do. Especially with a dremel as mentioned. But if you're not comfortable doing it, you can always pay a shop to do it.

its just plastic, make measurements and whatnot...if you take this as a hard job, i cant imagine you even touching the rest of your car

im trying to figure out what model integra you have..because we just installed mine tonite..and all i had to do was pop my two strut tower covers off..and on the left drivers side,there was a little plastic slim piece running across..i had to rip that off..but other than that..no cutting?

i installed a "mugen" style one in my friends teg and we had to cut thru it. i just used this plastic cutter we had laying around at work. i eyed it and cut two slits down on each side. folded it down and installed the strut bar. if he ever wanted to get rid of the bar the plastic peice is still there and you can barely tell its been there. hope i helped. i can get pics if you need it. pm me and let me kno if your confused about anything ive posted.
