When im parked and i opened my hood i can hear a little ticking sound coming from the head and when i put my ear next to it you can clearly hear its from the head any suggestions what it can be???

 

adjust your valves, could be the lma's. All honda engines have that TIck sound.

try checkng your timing belt....how tight it is or not....same situation...however mines actually ripped....try finding out more where the sound comes from....driver or passenger side...so you will find more about your looking at.
