Default 88 through to 91 ef weight differences

I currently have a 91 civic cx with the d15b2 and the 5speed tranny. So far I have taken the rear seats out and the spare tire. Aside from the idea of getting a lighter driver and passenger seat, what else can be done to shed some pounds as there are no si type sway bars and similar features...no sunroof..no ac...currently has smallest capacity gas tank..drivers side mirror only..lol.....no cast iron exhaust manifold...but header....lighter muffler than stock....no cat...

I noticed that the 88 civic/crx's are a bit lighter, can anyone please tell me the main difference that affects the wieght between the ef's

The seatbelts in the doors is a weight difference in 90-91 compared to 88-89. I know you are in Canadia and that is irrelevant there. They also added side impact beams in 90-91. Other than that I have no idea.

If you truly do not care about ride quality, than you can rip out the sound deadening material in the trunk and under the carpet. Wich also means you'd be sacrificing insulation. Put in lexan windows, carbon fiber the hell out of it and wala!
your have a certified Honda ridding mower!!!!

You can put crx hf bumper supports onto your crx.

If you don't care, you can take out your dash.

Lightweight battery.

Remove your ecu cover.

Lightweight Doors (aftermarket).

All glass to lexan.

I had some sitting around and weighed them. 175 grams for an OBD0 cover, and 186 grams for an OBD1 cover, throw that bitch in the scrap pile. For future reference I've dropped 2lbs in one **** before. I have a freight scale at work right by me, and I'm always doing baseline weights, and after **** weights. 2lbs is my record though, on average it's usually a pound. I need to quit lifting weights, ******* muscle is getting heavy too. For those who are wondering yes I sport a Buzz Cut.
