My 1994 del sol si has turbo etc etc w/e not important
problem is that
a) when i drive "faster" my vents start blowing or activate basically when i go fast my heater or fan turns on when its on off so how can i fix this and btw my AC was taken out.
b) if i dont warm up my car keeps boggleing like revving none stop till its warmer say 1000rpm - 2000rpm up and down WASTE of gas!!
c) also when i "race" my 1st gear has no pull basically my car boggles when i floor it. Also i feel no PULL upon shifting like im supposed to feel on a turbo??

thanx i tried my best to explain it in my own words (no mechanical education) i jus basically play around w/ my car hoping to learn on my own my hobby ;]

b) if i dont warm up my car keeps boggleing like revving none stop till its warmer say 1000rpm - 2000rpm up and down WASTE of gas!! i'd have the person who tuned the car, retune it, i had the same problem once and after getting tuned by xs engineering, it was all good

c) also when i "race" my 1st gear has no pull basically my car boggles when i floor it. Also i feel no PULL upon shifting like im supposed to feel on a turbo?? sounds like turbolag, i can't even stay in 1st gear, I have to shift up within seconds or else redline

b) thanx getting it tunned is gonna be pricey huh ?? im located in NYC
c) probably turbo lag a friend mechanic said it could be my belt b/c i dont have a timing belt cover xP never came w/ car when purchased and didnt look like i needed it haha poor = bad

if you think you have a vacuum leak, take a can of brake clean and spray it aorund the vacuum lines, if the idle raises then theres your leak

also check your IAC valve see if thats dirty, if thats not the problem, have it retuned

its not too pricey for tuning, it depends on your engine management, etc... timing belt shouldn't affect your performance unless its in bad shape which can be seen visually, like cracking on the inside/outside, for your local tuning shops i'd check out the fi forums or maybe just try the search feature, you might find something, good luck
