nsx calipers on a 2000si
there is one guy on this board hybrid hatch something that has the nsx calipers on his 92 civic coupe.. i dont know what all was involved in the swap but im guessing he changed the hub, rotor, caliper, pads, and possibly just swapped out the whole front suspension.. nsx calipers must cost a pretty penny, might be just as good if not more money to just go w/ an aem big break kit or something
You mean extreme_hybrid_hatch?????? Thanks for pointing me out. But I have a hatch not a coupe LOL Hints the name. You can use the NSX calipers on your car. I haven't dealt with the 99-2000 Si knuckle assembly, but if it is the same one as the gsr it will work. The calipers will bolt up. But you have to use larger rotors. The NSX rotors are 28mm and I think that the civic rotors are like 20-22 some where in there I think. Not positive. What I did was have the NSX rotors redrilled to 4x100. I had a local machine shop do it for me. Cost me 50 bucks to have the rotors redrilled. Hope this helps. Oh yeah they aren't as expensive as say Wilwood but don't look quite as good either. You should be able to pick up the calipers at a junkyard for 200-400 for the pair and the rotors and lines. Most junkyards have what is called a parts locator service. If they don't have the part you are looking for. They can usually tell you of a yard somewhere that does. Also I saw a set for sale in the classifieds on this board. Thanks let me know if you have any other questions. Also check EBAY.
