will the f22 stock motor mounts work with a h22....i am doin a swap and i wasnt sure what stock honda mounts will work. if not then i will have to purchase aftermarket ones...ANY SUGGESTIONS?thanks its for my roomate.

 

You will use the motor mounts that come with the H22A, but the loctions are the same.

 

I just finished this same swap this past weekend in my 96 S model and I used the f22 mounts with energy suspension motor mount bushings and it worked fine. Or at least it looks fine to me, and everything is running so far. I got about 250 miles on it so far so good.

 

Would you post a site or give directions on where you bought the stronger mounts please. Thanks..

 

I'm looking at the same swap and I've heard from many people that yes, the "S" mounts will work, but they are ment for less weight and less torque as well. I'm going to get an engine w/ h22a oem mounts, I'd suggest the same... can't go wrong if you do it right

 

I just got back from the dealer and THE ENGINE MOUNTS ARE THE SAME PART NUMBER FROM THE F22A AND THE H22A.. just clearing that up! So many people think you need to change mounts.. you don't.
