i would get the tanabe. its stainless so it wont have as many rust issues. PLUS you can see that hks unit is starting to rust out.

i believe hks hi-power exhaust piping is smaller than tanabe piping.

I have a tanabe srm and I love it. I've had it for about 3yrs now. The only complaint that I have is about a year ago the weld where the exhaust meets the resonator came apart (pm me for pics if you want to see them). Cost $30 at a local shop to get it welded back together. Besides that no complaints. I love the deep sound but some people bitch that it's too loud at highway speeds. doesn't bother me though.

 

get the tanabe and hook me up with the hks hipower midpipe!
