ok, there is this sensor just to the left and above the oil filter it has two prongs that come out of it for wires. This sensor is not on the z6 instead there is a plug where that sensor it. shouhld I swap it over or just not use it. There is a two prong plug sensor on the thermostat housing of the z6 and not the a6, is that the same sensor as the one I am talkin about? I am in the middle of this swap so let me knwo guys thanx

yeah those are the same sensors.... what it is is the sensor that turns your fan on when your coolant is a specif temp.... all you need to do is extend the wires and pulg it into the plug next to thermostat... you dont need to worry about the placement that the wires are in
