I hate to ask this question because I'm sure it's been covered before, but I searched for a while and couldn't find anything relevant.

Is there a way to retain cruise control after installing a JDM ITR SRS Momo steering wheel in a 2000 Integra?

 

I am also curious of this. I drive 100+ miles a day and would like to retain my cruise, but at the same time get a better looking steering wheel.

yes, you know i've never done this myself, but im assuming you can move the cruise control switches to another location. If needed. Might not look that clean, but at least you still retain your c/c. hope this works, just trying to help

I suppose I would have to extend the wiring to the switch and perhaps mount the switch in a hidden location, maybe under the dash.

If anyone has any info, please chime in.

As far as I know, that will not work because of the Integra clock spring. The cruise control wires are part of the clockspring and are not labeled or identifiable by color.

Back from the dead once again....was there any success on this topic?

 

Ya know....I've been wondering this myself. One would think, you could fabricate some kinda of bracket to mount the switches on. Of course...what I'm thinking of is this: I'm sure most of you have taken apart the steering wheel in some way shape or form to fit it onto the steering rack. Some of you may have undoubtedly taken off the leather center piece and exposed the metal "spokes" of the steering wheel. Anyone know where I'm going with this?

In case not...umm...yeah one end of the fabricated bracket mounts on the metal "spoke" wherever measurements would deem fit, and the other end is where the switches would be mounted.

The only other thing is wiring I don't know if the wiring will need to be extended or not. But I thought I'd throw that idea in to help people get a good start on this......
