coming out the the distributor.. is there a gasket or anything i can replace to make it stop? its coming out inbetween the cap and dizzy.. its leaking down my tranny and onto the ground

You probably just need a new distributor oil seal.

 

is that on the dizzy'z little shaft ?

There's an O-ring that goes on the distributor housing that seals the head to the distributor assy, but what you're describing sounds like the seal inside the housing for the rotor shaft is leaking. Unfortunately, you can't get that seal by itself from the dealer. You'll have to get a whole new dist housing, unless you have a seal hook up. But then you'd likely have to replace the bearing for the shaft too. Maybe you're better off buying a used distributor.
