Default 98 civic DX winter prep

we've been driving this car for a few years now doing solo2 and time trials. It has been the daily driver for melissa but now that i have my truck, we can really start prepping the car for class. it is a coupe if you didn't already know

1st, id like to get rid of some dead weight, the car now weighs 2344 without driver. remove stereo equipment and anything else that i can find to pull or replace with a lighter part. Need a steering wheel so i can get rid of the airbag, and lose the passenger airbag as well.

Recently at the solo1 at Roebling i found the speed limiter on the straight, i was on the 13's, every lap i would have to feather the throttle at just a notch above indicated 120 so i wouldn't bounce. A new computer would be good so any suggestions there would be nice. i did set a new track record for FSP 1:27.7xx whoohooo!!

The brakes on the car are stock and the alignment is stock. we have ground controls and AGX's. I've had the car aligned many times this year and the last time i went they had trouble aligning the car. not sure if its because every shop around here has a bunch of idiots or if its from when i wrecked the car in Jan.

I would appreciate any advice or comments.
