B18 series questions need help
okay so I got a B18B LS motor and I was wondering a few things.....
1. will a gsr or itr crank fit in the block without making the pistons tap the head
2. which head would be the best for ls vtec? 1)B16 2)GSR 3)ITR
3. which all B-series pistons will fit in the LS block
4. how far can I overbore it without worrying about the water jackets
5. which tranny should I use for street/strip
6. how hard is changing the 5th gear in a manual tranny for the b-series
7. what axles do I need for an EG
8. can 12.5:1 CR pistons run on 91?

1. Yes, either crank will work fine
2. Whatever head you can get that is in nice shape theres not a super advantage to either one.
3. Any oem b-series piston will work fine, P3o jdm b16a, pr3 b16a and usdm or jdm type r pistons are all a good choice.
4. 82mm is arguably the most anyone should bore stock sleeves.
5. b16 tranny if you have the money try and get a type r with the factory lsd.
6. Not too hard to change the fifth depends on how mechanically inclined you are.....
7. Any 94-01 integra axles/intermediate shaft.
8. If you run your compression that high its likely you will have detonation problems out there in the desert. With a really good tune it might not be so bad but if it were me I would stay around 11.1 theres more power to be found elsewhere no need to make the compression sky high.

y would you want to change the crank from your b18b when it makes more tq then the gsr and itr. i dosnt the b16 head flow much smoother then the others?
i think i would go with a ctr piston from there more high comp.
just buy a b16 tranny and put in a jdm itr final drive with its lsd
can you fit integra axles with a b16 tranny? i thought you just have to match the axles with the same tranny.
