Default burnin alot of oil. need help

it seems like i've been burning alot of oil lately, which is shitty because i just got the head redone after i had a bent valve not too long ago, i had the head milled and a new headgasket set, what the funny thing is, is that there is no smoke coming out of my exhaust at all. and i don't see an oil leak anywhere, does anyone know what the problem could be? i take long trips at least once a week, but its not too long its only about 100 or so miles all together (there and back) it has me stumped as hell, i use 10w 30(castrol sytec) oil btw, my car (92 hatch cx)has 210 000 miles on it, but just about everything has been replaced on the motor(d15b non vtec.). i'm open to all comments and suggestions. thanks in advance you guys always seem to help me out.

Is your oil black? My valve seals were bad and the oil was black and it burned an *** load of oil but didnt seem to smoke. Apparently the machine shop that put my valve seals on, had a problem with the machine they were using (whatever that is) cutting valve seals.

It's probably oil leaking past the rings. Your motor has a lot of miles and if I read correctly you only serviced your head. Just wondering, how did the shop determine that your rings are ok?

i got the same problem, my car has 130,000 miles. Burns oil like hell, smokes alot when you put you get into higher RPM, oil is VERY black. Unstable idle sometimes jumps and wants to stall.

if its the piston rings i might just start saving for a new motor. not too sure what it is tho

make sure you check the cam seal where the distributor goes. you could be losing alot of oil and not know it. i lost about a qt a week when mine was bad. other than that you could have bad valve seals or valve guides. when the guides get worn down oil can seap down through every time the valves open. could be a combination of things. i'm pretty sure i've got some bad seals or guides because i burn a little bit of oil at high rpms.
