Default 2003 Civic Factory Alarm Problems

Does anyone know how to change the setting on a factory alarm of a 2003 Honda Civic EX sedan? The settings are too sensitive. Everytime anyone brushes against it or lightly touches the car, it will get set off. It's driving me crazy. Does anyone know how to change the settings?

Please let me know.

Thanks.

the factory alarm doesnt have a shock sensor. You have an aftermarket alarm or one added to the factory alarm. If the shock sensor is external, you can easily adjust it by turning the dial. If it is internal, it will most likely require programming. take it to where you bought the car and have them look at it for you.
